Guide of Kitchen Faucet Selection

1. Scenarios of using the pull-out Kitchen Faucet

When cleaning the sink after meals, due to the fixed position of the regular faucet, the walls, corners, and even the countertop of the vegetable washing pool cannot be flushed, which is very limited; When cleaning dishes, either the water is splashed everywhere or the water is weak.
The pull-out kitchen faucet is really a great kitchen item that I have always been working on, making it easier for you to clean. The appearance of the Kitchen Sink Faucet is not significantly different from that of an ordinary faucet, but its function can achieve 360 ° rotation and pulling, and even switch to water spray mode for cleaning, which is super convenient.

2. Material of the main body of the Kitchen Mixers
The main body of the faucet is the place where water stays for the longest time, which has a significant impact on daily water use, so the requirements for materials and materials are higher than other parts.
Common materials on the market include 304 stainless steel, precision copper, zinc alloy, plastic, etc. It is recommended to choose copper based faucets, and basic high-end faucets use copper as the main body. The most common material classification for copper is 59 copper (national standard copper), with a copper content of 58% -60%.
The brass metal in brass itself has a bactericidal effect, and copper is also one of the best and most suitable materials for water contact. It is important to recognize the national standard copper, also known as "59 brass" or "hpb59-1 lead brass".

Main material selection recommendation: refined copper>stainless steel>zinc alloy>plastic

3. Faucet Valve core
After using the faucet for a period of time in daily life, problems such as dripping, leaking, and unsmooth opening and closing can actually be attributed to the poor quality of the valve core, which determines the lifespan of the faucet. So the leader should try to choose reliable brand products as much as possible, with guaranteed products and after-sales service, saving time and energy costs in the later stage.

There are currently three common types of valve cores on the market, namely ceramic valve cores, ABS valve cores, and paraffin valve cores.

1. Ceramic valve core
Ceramic valve cores are also the mainstream materials used by major brands in the industry. The biggest advantage is wear resistance, less deformation, and long service life. Moreover, the sealing performance is good, and it is not prone to dripping or leaking.
2. Paraffin valve core
Generally, imported shower paraffin valve cores are used more frequently, with strong temperature sensitivity and precise temperature control.
3. ABS valve core
Not recommended! Although lightweight, sturdy, and low in cost, it has a short lifespan, inaccurate temperature control, and can easily cause stagnation if there is scale.
